Fast forward to today a young man (LeBron James) is subjected to character assassination for using his mind and influence for good and still he should have reached back and talked to the management before a media mindstorm was implemented to that rocked the industry.

The corporate offices of the NBA and the team owners didn’t asked the players  how their TV contracts, extended seasons and corporate deals would trickle down to the players that bound the circuit and give up their family lives to build the billion dollar industry. They were just to play.

Enter LeBron James. He has been marked for greatness for many years through his high school years then with his jump to the NBA. His greatness is not just on the court his opportunity to move his skills and family to Miami has been marked as a traitor to a city not just a team.

Back in the day a Los Angeles Laker player would not go to a rival team  because it was more important for the player to focus all their energy on becoming the best player they could be.  Now it is the machine against the body of human beings. More games, more money. These players don’t want to play ten years. They want it now, and they can build it, if they use their minds.

The ability to be single minded and focus on your craft has evolved into being the best on and off the court and to seduce all of the companies that build empires around you kept in the black.  The amount of pounding subjected to these athletes is unbelievable. If in the heat of battle you are behind the thrust of the microphone and your emotions are blasted across media outlets that in seconds can devour your integrity and sway the masses, what would you do to protect your mind, body, soul and family.
